Rotron Engines are the culmination of 3 years research and development into producing a lightweight usable efficient rotary engine. The result is a powerful lightweight engine that is ideal for aviation applications.
The major benefits are:
Extremely high power to weight ratio: Approximately double that of equivalent capacity piston engine.
Zero Vibration: Unlike any equivalent piston engine which vibrates and where all mountings and vehicle chassis have to be designed to accommodate the reciprocating induced vibration, including rubber mountings and high strength, heavier structural members. The Rotron engine can be rigid mounted to a chassis with no radial vibration transfer to the user making a much more pleasant ride and reducing the weight of the vehicle still further.
Compact Size: The Rotron engine is approximately one third of the size of an equivalent power output piston engine and is conveniently cylindrical shaped for more practical and space saving installation.
Low Noise Signature: The Rotron engine can be made quieter than the equivalent piston engine because more weight and material can be dedicated to the exhaust muffler system (because the engine itself weighs so much less)
Fuel Economy: The Rotron engines are up to 20% more efficient than the equivalent capacity 2 stroke cylinder engine

The Rotron is available in two sizes the 160cc and 294cc. Both sizes are currently available in pusher formats. The Rotron 294cc puller/tractor will be avaiable soon.
