Airways Airsports is run by pilots who are committed to sharing their love of flying with anyone wanting to learn to paraglide. Our instructors range from a three-times World Champion, World Record holders, British Cross Country Champion, British Distance Record Holder, Royal Aeroclub Gold Medal winner and two members of the British Paragliding Team.  

Airways Airsports were chosen to teach Blue Peter presenter, Matt Baker, to fly.  We flew with him on his successful Tandem World Record breaking flight.  We are currently teaching a second Blue Peter presenter to fly (Spring 2010).

Simon is one of the leading instructors of Paramotoring within the UK, leading the development of accreditation for Paramoting in the UK.  Simon has been involved with Parajet for over 3 years as a dealer and instructor.

Simon was chosen to be part of the Parajet SkyCar Expedition as the expedition paramotor pilot and communications expert. 

In 2008 Simon helped to organise and piloted the Tip to Tip expedition where they flew from John O'Groats to Lands End in weather that pushed the limits of "flyable".

Simon teaches from Membury airfield, which is a 320 acre perfectly flat grass field with 360 o take off. It has direct access to and from the M4 motor way from both directions. This site is very exclusive and a better than perfect environment to learn how to fly in.
