Parajet International Ltd: Rotary Engine Development 2008

After the ultimate test of reliability and performance in May 2007 the Parajet Rotron rotary engine enabled paramotor pilot Bear Grylls to break all existing altitude records and to look down on the summit of Mount Everest.

Wankle Rotary Engine

Following on from this success, we have developed two sizes of rotary aircraft engines specifically for the paramotor and ultralight aircraft market.  A 160cc, 26hp model and a 294cc,  48hp model which will be in full production by Spring 2009. These specialized aircraft engines produce zero vibration, combine this with an unparalleled power to weight ratio and fuel consumption 30% lower than a two-stroke engine and you have a power unit that is unbeatable in the market today.

When it comes to personal aircraft the rotary engine is truly in its element. With fewer moving parts then any internal combustion engine and power delivery as smooth and progressive as an electric motor the Rotron power unit is set to become industry standard.
